Amazing hotel in Hoi An
We booked this hotel for 3 nights but decided to stay for 5 nights. We were right, the hotel offered us a free transfer to the airport for our 5 night stay. That’s a good deal!
The hotel location is great. We could walk to the beach in just 5 minutes and the river is fantastic. The room was absolutely beautiful and clean. We were amazed by the flower on the bed. But the most impressive was the staff we met anywhere in the hotel, especially the manager, Mr. Trung. He is excellent speaking English and can give you many advices.
All things we got were valued for the price $40 we paid.
I know that we will get back and highly recommend this hotel. My tip is you should book through hotel website to get immediate confirmation instead of waiting for answer.

We enjoyed our stay at the Indochine Hotel in Hoi An. We spent 6 nights the week of Christmas. The view of the river from our room on the 4th floor was good. The location was ideal for our needs. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach while away from the road traffic. We got a special rate of $37USD per night which we believe is a fair value.
Even though the hotel was only 4 years old, the exterior was weathered. The interior rooms were kept clean. We found the staff helpful, though challenged in their English. It is not a problem if you have patience in getting your point across. The General Manager, Mr. Trung is very helpful and good with his English. Comparable to other hotels in the same class, the breakfast offered is adequate but not exceptional.

A great place to stay!
I am currently staying at this hotel with my family of three for 5 nights–December 22 to December 27. What a fantastic place this is. We got a River View Suite which does have a great view of the river. The river is beautiful and no bad smell comes from it. The beach is only five to seven minutes away on foot and what a beach it is: very wide and pure sand, I am sure for miles in either direction. The staff at this hotel are all kind and helpful. The food is superb, including the breakfast, which is included. Resort fans may prefer a hotel right on the beach, as we always have, but even the hotels “on the beach” in Vietnam, in this area anyway, are a bit off it, as the beach essentially is a public area. We booked the hotel through Expedia, but I wouldn’t hesitate to call the hotel and book it directly next time.
We have stayed in Phuket, Langkawi, Saipan, and other resort areas. They are all special in their own way. One big advantage here though is it is far less expensive. The suites have two huge king beds, spaced far apart. A family of 5 to 6 people could stay here easily and comfortably. The Town Hoi An, is too far to walk or even to bike to, for us at least, but a free shuttle is provided several times a day. I did much research before picking this hotel and feel it was certainly the best choice for us! We ate lunch once at the Hoi An Hotel: It was three times more expensive and not nearly as good. So there!!

We loved Indochine
We really loved Indochine. The view is ideal, and the atmosphere of old Indochine is quite authentic. For an easy access top the sea/beach it’s really good. We’ve stayed at [other hotel] – which is a fantastic resort just down the road on the beach – however – even though it is really beautiful – you can get this kind of “beauty” in any tropical country – perfect design perfect service, sea view, terraces and so on. Indochine felt more real. It was a trip back in time. If you’re after fantastic comforts – go to [other hotel], though it’s about 150 – 350/day. If you after some sepia coloured memories that will soon disappear from the world – stay in Indochina.

Love this hotel
Indochine hotel in Hoi An is absolutely one of the best hotel we have stayed on our trip in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. We did not find any troubles while staying here. While walking from this hotel to downtown is not recommended, it is just few minutes to the beach.
We also loved the people here who gave us a wonderful time. Although they are not excellent in English but we could feel their effort.
we recommend this hotel to all of you.

Great place to stay in Hoi An
My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in August. We were greeted by the reception staff who addressed our name while another one was inviting us glasses of cold fruit juice for welcome drink. What a relief as it was a very hot day.
The staff were extremely kind and they made the hotel such a wonderful place to stay. The hotel location is ideal, right on the bank of a river and just a short walk to the beach. The hotel room was fabulous, furnished with modern furnitures and fittings. The buffet breakfast is so much better than other similar class hotel we have stayed in Vietnam. Definately recommend this hotel, for those who are gonna be travelling to Hoi an.

We stayed at the indochine for 8 days and it was very good, the rooms were well equipped and service efficient. The hotel is about 1km from the beach and restaurants are within 300m. The staff were friendly, value wise the hotel was alot cheaper then the other 3 and 4 store hotels nearby. We stayed in a superior/deluxe room. The hotel also throws in dinner for those staying for more the three days which is a nice touch. The breakfast wasnt fantastic but was adequate, it seemed to vary depending on how many people were in the hotel, on several occasion they ran out of juice etc and werent able to refill it. Other aspects that needed attention were the mouldy cupboards which you cant use in the room and the satellite TV which is faulty and requires staff attention every time you wish to watch it. The hotel was also reluctant to except a mastercard with out a 3.5% comission being added to the bill, something that isnt mentioned on the hotel website when booking or in the foyer upon check in, the guy who dealt with it didnt seem to see the inconvenience in sending us to some bank which we didnt know the location of and for which we didnt have transport to get to.
We also received an email from the manager asking us what our experience was which is impressive.

Outstanding hotel in Hoi An
It was my right choice to return to Hoi An Indochie Hotel with my friends. Tran, the manager of the hotel gave all of us a surprise with his good memory by asking me if I still want to drink Larue beer. It’s my favourite beer and he could remember that from the last time I stayed at his hotel 6 months ago.
We decided to eat at the hotel instead of an outside restaurant. The river terrace is absolutely beautiful in the evening. The food was excellent and price was reasonable. I can’t forget Nhung and Trinh at the restaurant as they are lovely and friendly.
The location is great away from the hustling downtown and very quiet in the evening. The room are extremely clean and tastefully decorated. We vote it is an outstanding hotel in Hoi An. There is no reason not to come back to Indochine hotel next time.

Great and quite hotel
I was staying at Indochine hotel after traveling to major cities and found it gave us a bonus from its tranquility. The bedroom was neat, clean, large with a small balcony on the side of a river. They also have free internet and shuttle van which is a great way to visit this beautiful town. Although it is just about 5 minute walk to the beach, there any plenty of things to look at on the way: the greenfields, the fishing village next to a small river… I found their staff was very efficient and helpful.
While high floor was not what we expected, it was not a bother as the hotel has an elevator. I especially love the river terrace where you can sit for breakfast and dinner.
I strongly recommend this hotel!

A pleasant stay
Indochine hotel is a very nice hotel with a perfect location. It is easy to access to the Cua Dai beach either by bicycle or just walking. While the room and facilities are simply what we expected, the staff is extremely lovely, especially Lee. He gave us a comprehensive explanation about My Son and the Cham culture. All others we met always appear with smile.
Tran, the general manager of the hotel is a respectable gentleman. He came to meet us (and other guests) at the restaurant every morning to ask if we are happy with the hotel. He is very young but very knowledgeable.
The internet is free and reasonably fast. We liked standing at the balcony overlooking the small river and villages. We decided to extend our stay as we felt it was to short with our 2 night schedule. We paid $40 for a night but felt it is acceptable.
Thanks and good luck to all.

Wonderful place, lovely staff!!!
We’ve stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and absolutely loved it! The room was well-decorated and carefully cleaned. The staff are friendly and hard working to help us with anything. They always recommended that we should use their free shuttle bus to the downtown but we said we prefer biking.
We love the romantic riverside terrace where we were sitting for the wonderful breakfast buffet. We were surprised when a local hotel like Indochine can serve international buffet.
The receptionists and restaurant staff greeted us by our name any time they met us. That made us very happy.
I am planing to return to Hoi An this December and we decide to stay at Indochine again.

Much better than before
It was the second time we stayed at Indochine hotel and we found that it was much better than ever. The hotel was absolutely clean and beautiful, especially the restaurant. The buffet breakfast is lovely and well-prepared, the waitresses there were lovely and helpful. Their English was much improved.
I specially appreciated a bottle of wine presented to us by the manager on our wedding anniversary. It was great!!!
Thanks to all. We will not stay at another hotel next time.

A Warm Welcome :o)
The Indochine was one of nine hotels we visited during a tour of Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. It was simply the best of the nine because of the warmth of the staff and the enthusiasm with which they approached every task.
Although the Indochine is nearer the beach than the town, it runs a regular shuttle bus. Bicycles are also available – and these make for a great way to get around.
The riverbank location is idyllic and the beach is just a short walk away. Breakfast was better than average … for special evening meals there is a superb riverbank restaurant (The Moonlight) just 100 metres away.
The lobby has three fast Internet terminals which are freely available.
We liked this Hotel … and we loved the staff :o)

The most friendly staff I have experienced
Indochine Hotel is not a five star hotel, but is a uniquely styled hotel, immaculately clean, with good service, just 300m from the beach, and we really enjoyed every moment of our stay there.
The rooms are decorated with solid accent wooden furniture. The decor and layout is quaint.
The staff could not have been more helpful, organising all our sightseeing arrangement for us. A request for a room service was met within seconds of our phone call.
There is a free shuttle running regularly 7 times to the town, and twice a day to the beach. Take care to book the shuttle back from dinner. The buffet breakfast is pretty.

I would recommend the hotel wholeheartedly
The hotel is a bit out of the way: near the northern end of town and about 1km south from the beach. The setting is just marvelous: next to an idyllic and beautiful river. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful; the room is clean and spatious, although somewhat dark with the built-in wood blind. The restaurant is beautiful but the price is on the high side. Breakfast is OK on weekdays and is excellent during the weekend because of the special buffet. Internet is free (but slow). I would recommend the hotel wholeheartedly, especially for people who enjoy a laid-back setting.

If your on a budget this place is well worth staying at
For the price was expecting i guest house, so was a very nice suprise. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even driving us to danang airport in a old US army jeep that one of them owned, the locations good between the town and the beach about 10 minutes bike ride to each. The only thing that lets it down is the fact it dosent have a pool, but the rooms were fantastic. Very large and well decorated, i didnt eat meals in the hotel as i like to take my meals in the town, so cant comment on the hotels food. If your on a budget this place is well worth staying at.
